Dr. Richard O. Cook
Dr. Cook received his B.S. degree in Dairy Husbandry from Penn State University and his V.M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1956. Dr. Cook has been in private veterinary practice for 50 years.  Dr. Cook remains active in local organizations and was an organizer and Chairman for the Harford County Farm Fair for many years.

Dr. David Moore
Dr. Moore received his B.S. degree in Zoology from Georgia State University in 1973, his D.V.M. degree with honors from the University of Georgia in 1977 and his Ph.D. in physiology from Emory University School of Medicine in 1984.  Dr. Moore is board certified in Veterinary Preventive Medicine and has been associated with Bel Air Veterinary Hospital for 22 years.

Dr. Gail O'Connell
Dr. O'Connell earned her B.S. degree in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin in 1986 and her D.V.M degree from Colorado State University in 1990. Dr. O'Connell practiced for 7 years in the Washington D.C. area followed by 3 years of small animal practice in Germany. She has been associated with BAVH for the past 7 years.

Dr. John Brooks
Dr. Brooks received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1974. He has practiced in the Baltimore area for the past 35 years and was the former owner of Fork Veterinary Hospital where he was a solo practitioner including equine, food animal and small animal medicine. Dr. Brooks worked from 2003-2007 with Governor Robert Ehrlich serving the citizens of Maryland as the Deputy Secretary of Agriculture.

Dr. Nathan Pate
Dr. Pate earned his B.A. degree in Biology from Franklin College in 2003. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 2007. Dr. Pate has a special interest in small animal ophthalmology and dermatology.
 

Registered Veterinary Technicians
Bel Air Veterinary Hospital currently employs five registered veterinary technicians. Most of these skilled technicians completed their formal education while working at our hospital.
